What are my goals for 2019?
Its a question I ask myself every year, well not for 2019 specifically but you get my vibe. Last year I did things differently and made 6 promises to myself which I actually stuck to. I completed my masters degree, travelled more and managed to drink a little more water.
So for this year I wanted to note down some things I’m looking forward to in the next 12 months.
This one is an up and down for me. Whilst I absolutely love blogging, I fear that it’s just not the same as it was when I first started out. It’s become more of a place where I jot down things I’m thinking or answering the questions my friends so kindly bug me with. I’ve come to realise that it doesn’t really matter what everyone else is doing and if I have a small readership, it’s OH-Kay.
All in all, I’ll just keep doing me. If that means I post every day weekly or once a month it really doesn’t matter.
OH DEAR LORD. I still haven’t quite gotten to grips with this bit.. I”m going to Hawaii (!).. well I hope anyway. This year is a lil bit of a biggen’ for the Gallacher clan: I graduate my masters degree, my sister graduates from her PGCE and my littlest sister turns 21. What better way to celebrate than to piss off to a beautiful country half-way across the world. Am I right?
Anyone else remember when they were like 14 and thinking “I’ll be married by the time I’m 25”.
Yeah me too.
I turn that age in a couple months time and let me tell you – I. AM. NOT. READY. The goal for this year is to seriously think about my finances and boost my savings pot so I’m ready to move on (and out). I just wanna be able to knock down a wall or refurb the kitchen without asking permission. Watch out because I will be documenting my journey and sharing the tips I’ve learned along the way.
I started with a personal trainer last year and I’m still here! He works me hard and I moan half the time but I’m starting to see a real difference (finally). I’ve still got a long way to go as my eating habits need work but watch this space.
I”M SO HAPPY TO BE SHARING THIS NEWS! I’m kicking off 2019 with a career move and a fresh start in my professional development. Toward the end of last year, my previous job got me mega depressed, where I was on the verge of doing something irrational. Knowing that I couldn’t just sit there in my own self pity I decided to do something about it – I knew it was time to move on and this role is definitely a step in the right direction to starting my career in PR.
